We had a blast in Bristol! We had the best time! The Fabulous Food, Fellowship, & Fun and Learning made the week zoom by as fast as cars at BRISTOL MOTOR SPEEDWAY! We made a bunch of new friends and we’re looking forward to seeing you again in August at the Pot Likker Film Fest!

Special Thanks goes to SFA Staff! They did a truly incredible job! It was as high as the mountains.

Apple Buns

These are Apple Buns. The are made with Granny Smith Apples, and are kinda sorta like fried apple pies, but they're baked. The Chaps made them with a little supervision from Sweet Thing. They're incredible yummy, although these were just bit to big for anything but a mid afternoon snack.

The Start of Summer

Memorial Day Weekend has come and gone, so Summer has officially started even though the chaps are still in school for another week. What better way to start the summer than with Burger and Beer? This is a two pound burger that fed six of us. I formed it in a cheesecake spring form pan to start it. It cooked on the grill for about 20 minutes before I took it out of the pan. Then it cooked for about 15 minutes. The bun was loaf of bread from the Piggly-Wiggly.
