This is for and about food prepared in, grown in, and eaten in South Carolina, (primarily Lexington County). It is also about the folks who live thereabouts and the food they might eat (or have eaten) elsewhere. It might wind up being even more than that!
These are Apple Buns. The are made with Granny Smith Apples, and are kinda sorta like fried apple pies, but they're baked. The Chaps made them with a little supervision from Sweet Thing. They're incredible yummy, although these were just bit to big for anything but a mid afternoon snack.
